Corumbau Beach
Located on the southern coast of Bahia, close to Monte Pascoal, Ponta do Corumbau is a quiet and unspoiled beach. At low tide, a long strip of sand emerges, creating a natural path. It retains the charm of the old fishing villages, with no crowds or large hotels and beach huts. Access to Ponta do Corumbau is not easy, which contributes to its authentic and rustic atmosphere.
Tauá Beach
This spectacular location is a true haven for those seeking tranquillity and direct contact with nature. The waters are crystal clear, mesmerizingly blue, always clean and pleasantly warm, inviting you to take a relaxing dip. Environmental preservation is a highlight, keeping the landscapes practically untouched. There are beach huts offering delicious snacks and refreshing drinks.
Praia do Moreira (Ponta do Moreira Beach)
Located near Prado, Bahia, about 8 km from the city center, with access via an unpaved but signposted road. Its waters are ideal for swimming, with coral formations visible at both low and high tide. As it is a preserved area, it has no tourist infrastructure such as tents or restaurants, maintaining a wild and peaceful atmosphere.
Cumuruxatiba Beach
A district of Prado, Bahia, founded in 1896, its coastline is known for its serenity and unspoiled natural beauty. The journey to Cumuruxatiba is an immersion in nature. Its beaches, some almost isolated, are surrounded by natural pools and imposing cliffs. The town center has a rustic and charming feel, with only a few buildings on the seafront. Access is via a 32 km dirt road from the center of Prado.
Japara Beach (Praia da Japara Grande)
One of the natural jewels of Prado, Bahia, it is a haven for those seeking tranquillity and unspoiled beauty, surrounded by native forest and towering coconut palms. The Japara Grande River flows into the ocean here, creating a natural spectacle. As it is a deserted beach, there is no tourist infrastructure, so visitors should bring their own snacks and water. It has colorful cliffs and is ideal for fishing and sailing sports.
Tororão Beach
This beach stands out for its impressive cliffs, creating an environment of unparalleled beauty. At low tide, it reveals reefs and small natural pools. A magnificent freshwater waterfall from a river flows directly from the cliff into the sea, offering a unique experience. The calm sea is ideal for relaxing swims. It is perfect for family outings and photography enthusiasts.
Amendoeira Beach
Located at the northern end of Prado, it is also known as Praia da Viçosa. At high tide, the water covers the clear sand. From a natural viewpoint at the top of the cliffs, you can enjoy an unforgettable panoramic view of the beach.
Lighthouse Beach
Named after the imposing Navy lighthouse. The stunning scenery features colorful cliffs that separate the native vegetation from the strip of sand, forming a spectacular natural wall. The view from the top of the cliffs is unforgettable. Coconut palms offer shade along the serene beach with warm, calm waters. The firmer sand is good for walks and picnics.
New Prado Beach
A perfect destination for those seeking tranquillity and relaxation. The coarse sand is great for walking and playing sports, while countless coconut trees line the shore, providing natural shade. It's an excellent spot for watching the sunset from the sand.
Center Beach
Located close to the heart of the city, this beach offers comfort and convenience. Ideal for relaxing, it has soft golden sand and a well-equipped structure with beach huts, tables, snack bars, restaurants and kiosks. Its privileged location allows visitors to follow the city's cultural events. It is also known as Coqueiral Beach due to its many coconut trees.
Coqueiral Beach
One of the most popular summer destinations in Prado, Bahia. Many visit to enjoy meals by the sea or take selfies with the stunning scenery. Located near the mouth of the Jururuçu River and Praia da Barra, it is a postcard of Prado. Access is simple, a short walk from the town's historic center to Praia do Centro.
